It is with mixed emotions that I announce the transfer of our wonderful Vice-Principal, Nick Chiarelli. Mr. C. has been appointed Principal at Grandview New Hamburg as of February 1st, 2017. While we are excited for Mr. C. and congratulate him on his promotion, we will miss him very much here at Pioneer Park. Mr. C’s kind and caring nature, warm smile and terrific sense of humour contributed significantly to the climate of our school. We know he will be a fantastic Principal!

On February 1st, we will welcome our new Vice-Principal, Jeff Bumstead. Jeff is currently the Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT) at Centennial in Waterloo. Prior to that he was an intermediate teacher at Laurelwood Public School. He brings a wealth of teaching experience and exceptional knowledge of Special Education. Jeff is very excited to join the Pioneer Park community. He has visited the school and will work closely with Mr. C. over the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
