PantherFest is coming to Pioneer Park!

The end of the school year will be here before we know it, and we are excited to celebrate with a fun family event we are calling PantherFest!

Save the date!

Wednesday June 15th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Bring the family out for a pizza dinner and meet our new Principal Ms. Tait!

We will have Panther’s tattoos, Scholastic Book fair in the library to get ready for lazy summer reading, a “Cake Walk”  (an opportunity to win your choice of the fantastic cakes with the purchase of a $1 ticket),  and a bake sale run by the grade 6 graduating class to fund their graduation celebration!

We will also have an “Open Closet”, so you can come and do some clothes shopping for summer clothes, or back to school clothes or both…COMPLETELY FREE!

There will be mini-stick hockey games and balls for four square as well.

Volunteers are needed for advanced preparation (take home work) as well as to help run events that evening. If you are able to help, please contact Mrs. Wenzel (Parent council chair) at wenzel.jennifer@gmail.com

We are also welcoming donations of baked cakes, as plain or fancy as you’d like to make them for our cake walk! They can be dropped off at the school June 15th, or brought with you when you attend.

All proceeds raised though PantherFest go directly to Panther’s Hockey and school council to purchase things such as our new stationary bikes, and more technology to enhance the learning experience for our 21st century learners!  Proceeds from our Scholastic Book Fair will allow us to bring more books into our classrooms.

We hope to see you there!
